So I've had an amazing month! It's been nothing short of exciting around here and I am utterly blown away by the response that my LEO photo project has gotten! The project has gained national attention and I am beyond honored that it was featured on PoliceOne. ICYMI, here's the link:
Calendar sales will officially be made available in the first few weeks of September. They will be available for purchase here on my website. I am currently working with a few people on designing and perfecting the layout as I finish up photos that will be included in it. These will be 16 month calendars and, as I told you all before, all proceeds will be donated to C.O.P.S.- Concerns of Police Survivors, an organization I admire greatly that held a special place in my Father In Law's heart. You can check out more information about what they do at their website:
And now seems like as good a time as any to announce the new name for the project! Drum roll please, for those of you who have been waiting patiently to hear.....
I give you, the "Thin Blue Life Project". The name was actually shared with me by one of my friends who intended to use it originally for a blog. But she felt it fit this project and offered it to me. I wish I could claim that I was the clever mind behind it, but alas, I was not. ;)
Don't stop checking back! There are many, many more photos to come through the summer and fall! I am putting my whole heart and soul into these, and I am so thankful that they are touching so many people and bringing so much joy. That was the entire goal from the start.
