Just a Little Announcement

Well. I've had a pretty fantastic week, how about you guys? ;)
It's been a whirlwind for me. The LEO Project has really taken off and it appears to be catching  on across the nation! You have no idea how happy that makes me. <3 I am overjoyed to see the positive recognition officers all over are starting to receive with similar photos!
I figured now would be a good time to announce my plans for this project for the end of the year. This fall, I will be offering a calendar with selected images from the project (with permission from participants and their agencies for the shot, of course). Proceeds from the sales of the calendars will be donated to C.O.P.S- Concerns of Police Survivors. It took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to donate the profits. Upon going through my Father in Law's things the other day, I found quite a bit of articles and framed photos he had supporting the organization. And I remembered him speaking about them when he was alive. In his spirit, I would also like to support this cause. You can visit their webpage and learn more about what they do by clicking on the link attached below. I have not lost any friends or family in the line of duty, but it still really hits home to me. I would love to be able to support the families that have experienced the tragedy of losing their officer any way that I can.
Please keep watching for more info through the summer months on this. I will be offering pre-orders and start a sign-up for notifications on the progress of the calendar over the next few months.
I am so proud to be a part of the Law Enforcement family in my area. I have been crying tears of joy on a daily basis this week because of all the love and support you all have shown. Truly one of the best weeks of my life <3

I found your work through P1 (I write for them occasionally), and love it. I wish you were closer to Virginia! I took forward to your calendar. Thanks for what you're doing. Rob

I seen the story about your work on Police One. I am not on social media but wanted to let you know that as a member of the Detroit Police Department, your work really is capturing the fact that we are real people. We are not just robots or cold hearted human beings like most people think we are. Thank you for doing what you do. I just wish you were closer, I would love to hire you to photograph my family. Keep up the great work!
